One of my weird dreams this morning was really out there. I don’t think I’d ever paint some of these but you never know… I would never go into a leopard cage but lo and behold there I was with a mother and large baby leopard. There were about four dogs inside a bird cage also inside this leopard pen with me. I was eating Cheerios (I don’t even eat Cheerios...
My friend Laura just called me and I hadn’t heard from her in a couple of weeks. I was wondering what was going on with her since I had called last and left a message. I always here from her. I was going to call her again this weekend but she beat me to it and mentioned having pneumonia for two weeks. She never gets sick. Even stranger is her doctor told her that it is airborne and more...
I actually picked numbers for Mega Millions Thursday night. I never buy lottery tickets but did it just for the hell of it. I know you have more of a chance when the jackpot is phenomenally lower but couldn’t help myself. Somebody has to win. Although, I would fair better in a batch of gallery applications. I have to get more of these out and not just one every three or four months. I...
Art! And here is to weird dreams… I know I’ve neen having some lately. I just haven’t dwelled in the fresh memories of them (upon awakening). The strangest thing is, while you are dreaming, time is so surreal. It seems so real. I have some far out ones for sure. I wonder if chamomile actually induces dream memories.
Back to sleep and possible weirdness…
I am sorry for Cy Twombly admirers but I can’t stand his art and have a complete aversion to it - in an anti- cultural way. Could it get any more repulsive? The poor Iliad…
Birds!
Last summer I went house hunting with a friend and there was one stop that he made off route 155 towards Conyers from Stickbridge, GA. This was a curiosity stop since it was a mansion. This was a 60-75% complete mansion. It was/is so cool and had to be worth over 2 million dollars at one point but was on the market last summer for under $200,000. It isn’t finished of course and it was...
Back to art and everybirdy.
I just emailed the hgtv website a question and feel a little dorky. I bet they have tours in April. I want to check out the drainage system and the solar panels - would be an inspiring trip! I’m going to do some kind of drainage system that’s similar. I may just dig it myself though. Who knows…

My cockatoo flew over to the painting of various birds this morning. He perched on top of the chair directly in front of the last bird that I painted and was looking at it. It was adorable. But, when I tried to take the photo, he charged the camera like a crazy bird!
Time to wake up

My crazy cockatoo did some designing/redecorating this morning. He was out and about. I went to the bathroom and when I returned, he had one of the diaphanous curtains (which is on two adjustable rods underneath the primary, thicker curtains and rod - the other see- through sheet was on the floor) hanging in the middle of the two windows instead of on both edges of the two windows. It actually...

I’m glad I didn’t upload a cheap photo of my work in progress. It’s starting to transform but so unfinished.
I checked out my friend, Alexi Torres website this morning (he had mentioned uploading new work and having representation (finally) now) then googled galleries and found out that Evan Lurie (the gallery) went to Art Basel and Will Smith bought an amazing painting of...

I had a suggestion already, Lady Gaga. I wonder if she’s a vegetarian…
on with the new
Been thinking about painting some famous people- in my part stain style with pop elements - but now disappearing birds . I do love painting portraits - they can be just as atmospheric. I need to sell some “wallpaper”- easy backgrounds in order to spend the time on these detailed ones. Interior design abstract backgrounds are big here (everywhere). Some of these paintings are so...
I do remember the weird dream now. I’ll have to sketch its unusual nature. Dreams are a strange phenomenon - indeed.
What a weird dream I had last night. It had nothing to do about the weather this time. Now, I can’t even remember it - no images - nothing but an abstract jist. It’s interesting how we can effectively choose to forget. Yet, the memory is still lurking and not out of reach.
I just had the craziest dream - nightmare rather. I was so glad to wake up. Events in the dream do symbolize reality. I just can”t repeat it except to myself; it’s too personal. What a nightmare… Maybe someday I’ll use it in a painting. There actually was an art part of the dream. That part was spectacular. The entire dream was vivid. I remember that towards the...
I’m not at all fond of the color yellow right now. It’s painful and it’s visible. I need to drill some holes and then cut my ear off - ha ha.
It’s so bad it actually looks like fog! The Vampire Chronicles lurking in dark shadows and pollen mists - at night that is. During the day the wind patterns are made visible.
I now have a good looking mailbox. It’s difficult to stick to art blogs sometimes. Life happens but art is always there. I just don’t need to blog about it constantly. I need to make an air- tight access area to the power tool room which has no ducts (air vents). I’ve been avoiding using my saws ever since the air conditioner froze last summer (on a really hot and humid...

Knowledge is good too. I saw that quote and I had to email it to my science nerd. Art matters!
