Invading Foundations - new title
I had started a tornado painting but it wasn’t really happening for me yet.  The other night (oddly enough the same evening of the Joplin tornado) I thought of turning the funnel into running bamboo roots which invades foundations - most definitely.  I’m excited about it but at the same time terrified by its sublime qualities.  Concrete can be comforting but not necessarily so…

recent tornado outbreak
I had no idea the sirens went off a couple of times the night of the tornado outbreak (which really started the afternoon before for MS and AL).  A neighbor just informed me of this last night.  I’m glad I slept through it. I knew the sirens went off in other counties.  There was a tornado with 1/4 wide worth of damage a couple of towns  away.  It is strange that I slept through it.  A month...

Storm Spirits - Spirits of the Storm - been thinking of starting to add people to this ongoing developing theme - semi-stained Yet the Spirit Animal theme lives on http://andreaallegrone.com/invitation.htm until the end of May.  I haven’t taken photos of the exhibition yet.  I think I’m going with the tripod there this week or early next week- possibly tomorrow mid-afternoon.
